It is the year 2045. Common warfare has practically taken over the world. Slavery has become a thing again, and it looks as if the United States will head into yet another civil war.
Bill Waters is a 17 year old boy from Texas. The closest thing he's done to killing someone is chopping wood. He gets drafted into the army, along with his two brothers. Texas is predominantly a slave state, so his two brothers join the slave side. Which one will Bill choose after his encounter with a slave? And how will it effect how his brothers and mama look at him?
