It has been one year since the passing of Nick Adler's wife Natalie, and moving on has been tough.
Now, rarely coming out of his apartment during the day, Nick is struggling to keep in touch with others who had once been close to him on top of just managing to pay his rent.
The lonely man only finds comfort in watching the moon nowadays and spends most of his time at the beach, laying on top of the cool sand, waiting.
Waiting for his lost love.

There was the rustling of bushes behind me as I stared at the moon's reflection on the water's surface.
I found it somewhat sad that the reflection, in all of it's shimmering glory, was more beautiful to me than the moon itself.
She rested a hand on my shoulder, "What are you thinking about?"
Tears formed in my eyes and I turned to face her.
Raven waves and emerald stars set against pale skin were what caught my attention the first time I layed eyes on her. She was beautiful, and I made sure to tell her everytime it crossed my mind.
"You" I said.
A small, child-like giggle escaped from her lips and she smiled a smile that could light up the night sky.
