There is a dragon war in Alandia, the land of the dragons. The Unnamed, a group of people who believe that everyone should be allowed to ride a dragon, have commenced to wage war on the dragons. The Dragon Wing Legacy, a group of people who seek to protect the dragons are recruiting once again to help. When Tialys Fyretail is unexpectedly chosen to become the rider of a rare lightning hatch-ling everything changes.
