What happens when Kansas Families Against Gay Sinners (K-FAGS) outs gays and lesbians in government to help far-right Republicans win an election? You get The Curator, a mild-mannered NGO employee who, with the help of his trusty Ruger 22/45, goes after the right-wing provocateurs who've poisoned public discourse. Kill off enough of them, he "reasons," and the old progressive Kansas he knew and loved cannot help but re-emerge. Can he cleanse the state of hateful voices? Or will the forces of reaction grind him down?

"Most people in the units, especially here on the front lines where they're sick and bored of all this shit-they call them gluts. Gluttons. Ravenous, insatiable. Zombies. Can't be a zombie if they're still alive. Which they are. They're just starving and out of their fucking minds. We can thank Arizona for that discovery." --- In Rustavi, Georgia, Kevin Kooper and his unit are in charge of cleaning up PCs --plagued civilians--that are still running out of control in Russia. Life is good in Red Rover Unit for Kevin. In a world where the government feels like it's run more like The Purge meets 28 Days Later, there's not much else he can do but survive, and he can't afford to be picky about how he spends his downtime or who is or isn't waiting on him when (if) he ever goes home to Washington. What more could he want? Still, on a whim, he signs up for the 'Letters from Home' program. A way for soldiers to talk to someone, get care packages, when they have little to no one left in the states. It's through this that he's matched with Toby Fritz. And it's through Toby that Kevin starts thinking he's worth more than the words scribed across the back of his uniform jacket that read, "Property of the US Army- PC Control Unit". After Kevin's time overseas is up, he finds himself back in the states, potentially face to face with his pen pal. Writing those heartfelt, personal words through a letter, and saying them in person, are two incredibly different things. Not to mention, war has a habit of following weary soldiers home (in more ways than old scars and nightmares). And Kevin's figuring out that the field isn't the only place that can turn into a warzone. -- This story is entirely based on fictional characters and events. Any names of people are purely coincidence. These are original characters following an original plot. Trigger warnings in tags. This story hasn't been edited fully for spelling or grammar.

Alex just left Nigel with only leaving a message on a note, telling him he probably comes back - only if possible. Obviously this is a hit in the face for Nigel. The first few months are terrible, and it only gets worse as he gets no word from Alex. No sign of him that could possibly give him some strength to go on. After more months, he loses his hope, killing everyone around as if that would make anything better. Nigel gets locked up in an asylum, declared for mentally unstable: charged for many, many murders. And since he doesn't ages, they keep him for experiments. Since they are very religious in there, they believe it's the Devil his son. After eight years, somehow Nigel keeps seeing this blonde-reddish boy visiting him. He tells him stories, being all cheeky and forces him to wait. The doctors around are trying anything to get that boy out of Nigel his mind, and when they don't succeed, they decide to use electroshock therapy for that. As Nigel threats to lose Alex, the connection between the two fades a lot. Alex has barely enough strength to stay around, and gets forced to find a body before he disappears forever. Strangely enough a patient passes by during Nigel his therapy. A suspicious girl that always wants to know everything that's going around. Since she is the only weak person of them all in a near distance, Alex gets into her body - being forced to share it with another soul. As soon as Nigel realizes that the girl isn't just somebody, and they can't get away from each other, there's only one option left. But what will happen? Will Alex get his body back? Their faces forever burned in his mind. Just as burned as the old country house he used to live in. His parents. The smoke. The Smoke. The Fire. That Damn Fire. The roof of their old farmhouse collapsing, closing off the exit. Their faces, burning, melting in the flames. He would never forget the image of their skin slowly melting off their faces. Horror in their eyes. There was one thing that Keith didn't understand. He never saw his parents when they died. All of it was in his head. His nightmares. <><><><> Keith Kogane, or Kathrine Kogane as his birth certificate says, is a trans-boy orphan who has gone from house to house, being rejected by all his families. He assumes this one is no different, but what he doesn't know is that this family is (What any family should be like) accepting of his choices. (Ok. I get it, I'm not very good at summaries and such but yeah...don't judge it by the summary. It's a lot better than it sounds ok) Warning. This is a mature story. There is a lot of fluff. And strong language. And depression. You have been warned. If you have a problem with gay, transgender, suicidal thoughts then don't read this book. Also, I am a shitty writer, a lot of this is based on other books I've read. There's a shit ton of stuff I got ideas from in my reading lists So go check those out. So yeah...enjoy my shitty writing. I've warned you. Please keep the comments nice, unless it is CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM! Saying 'You suck' is not constructive. Written by: Me duh I had some help with some information on transgender people and some other stuff, @StormOrSkyBreakDown so not all of this is mine :) Also, the editing isn't completely done so when it is I'll be sure to change this message right here ;) Update on that last line, it's been two years and the editing is done. Not sure why I didn't change that but I guess I'll leave it in.

The Island

44 parts Complete

"This is The Island, a prison designed for minors like me- too young to be executed, too old to be reformed, and too much of a stain on humanity to let exist. It was 'the answer' to the growing crime rate resulting from a world that was falling apart. The details evade me, but there is one thing I know. The water doesn't seem as scary as it did before." When Jordyn wakes up in the middle of a tropical forest in the mouth of a cat too big to be real, she decides this isn't how she wants to die. The Island has other plans, though. It was designed to kill her, and it will bring out every gun in the arsenal to do so. Her life becomes a game of survival from the mutant and venomous animals, severe temperature changes, and impossible weather scenarios that exist in this government manufactured prison. The twist? She has no idea who she is, where she came from, or why she committed first-degree arson. In this mixture of "The Hunger Games" and "Maze Runner", Jordyn has to unravel the truth before nature kills her- or die not knowing.
