A 16-year old boy named Mason and his 13-year old sister named Olivia both live with their dad in Las Angeles, California. Their mom is in a mental asylum because she claimed to see something she wasn't supposed to see but everyone thought she was crazy except for her own two children. Their dad works from morning to night and never has time for Mason and Olivia. But while dad is away Mason and Olivia like to do research on the paranormal. They want to prove that their mother is not crazy but they have many obstacles in their way.
