Growing up in utter desolation, Isla vows to avenge her family and step by step, she slowly gets closer to her aim, the Palace. With her parents being framed for the death of the youngest princess of Ranova nine years ago, the reigning King and Queen had ordered their immediate death, merciless even when ordering the execution of their loyal friends who had once saved their lives. Being forced to grow up quickly all alone, little ten year old Isla barely survived on the streets of Ranova until she meets a gang leader who surprisingly takes her in and trains her along with his other children to survive in the current world of despair. Isla's plans fall directly into place when she gets selected as part of a troop of dancers hired for the Queen's birthday celebration and she heads off to the palace with a hidden agenda, unbeknownst to everyone else around her. Yet, her plans are halted when she crosses paths with a certain male in the palace and when a certain someone begs her to "come home". Princess Margaux of St. Galienne and Prince Callahan of Breisburg have one thing in common-they want absolutely nothing to do with royal life. Tired of their families' expectations (and the constant threat of arranged marriages), they hatch a plan: convince their families to let them "bond" on a diplomatic vacation, only to escape to Philadelphia instead. Their mission? Live as commoners. Meet normal people. Fall in love with literally anyone who isn't royal. But between disastrous jobs, unexpected friendships, and way too many close calls, Margaux and Cal start realizing that the person they were trying to escape from... might just be each other. A runaway royal romcom filled with fake identities, stolen moments, and a love story neither of them saw coming. A/N: the book cover was generated by an ai so pardon me if there's a glitch. also, the font i suggest you read it with is palatino. i really hope you like it. ♡ brandonpsam ♡
