Jamie wanted to find the perfect horse. Jamie and her father, Tim started searching. They found a small ranch with some very nice horses and that is when Jamie spotted the perfect horse, Frankel. Jamie immediately fell in love with him. Jamie's mom, Amanda has always been pretty paranoid. She wasn't fond of the idea of Jamie getting a horse and she especially wasn't fond of the idea that Jamie wanted to race. Jamie's dream was to become a jockey and little did she know that Frankel was born to race. Jamie started doing races on him and meeting tons of people. She made friends and also made some rivals. Jamie's biggest rival was Samantha Waters. Samantha was the best jockey around. But when Jamie beats Samantha in a bet, things start going down hill. Samantha gets jealous. Will Jamie be able to beat Samantha in their biggest race yet? Or does Samantha have a plan to make Jamie lose?
I want to give credit @RachelLouiseJones because she made this wonderful cover for me! :)

Note: This book won't be completely accurate because I don't know a whole bunch about the racing industry. So, there may be a few things I have in here that don't happen in the racing industry but it's not about how accurate it is. This book is meant to be fun and enjoyable to read. I hope you all like this book. I worked really hard on it.

Southern Charm by anj6232
26 parts Complete Mature
Jessie White stands out from the crowd. As a Southern woman, she defies the typical expectations for a twenty-four-year-old. While others her age might be in college or embarking on new careers, Jessie's upbringing on a ranch alongside four brothers equipped her with skills many would balk at. She's adept at horseback riding, calving, stall cleaning, and more. Fiercely independent, Jessie refuses to rely on any man, a resolve hardened after heartbreak at the hands of Max Lane, a rancher's son, two years prior. Jessie has resolved to take up bull riding, a skill that appears to be a family legacy. Her lifelong dream has been to ride a bull before an audience, but now, her ambition has shifted to rescuing the White Family Ranch after a substantial portion of their funds vanished and debts began accumulating. Max Lane's family is eager to buy the White Family Ranch, but Jessie refuses to let him take away the one thing that sustains her. Being a beauty bartender owner and a female bull rider makes things challenging. Everyone says she can't do it because she's a woman, but Jessie is determined to prove them all wrong. Initially skeptical, Trace Black doesn't recognize her potential until he witnesses her mount a bull for the first time. Although he may appear arrogant externally, that pales in comparison to his internal complexity. Trace and Jessie are initially oblivious to their chemistry, though it's evident to everyone around them. As Jessie gathers the courage to express her feelings to Trace, the things she dreads occur. However, it doesn't make matters worse; it alters everything profoundly. *WARNING* Book contains language, child loss, trauma, etc. Thank you for choosing my story! (Read 'The Year of the Wolf' first.) It had been a year since Martha had found out that she was the Almair and the True One, and she had turned 16. However, there was a slight problem. Slight meaning that she hadn't started on her training as to become the next part of her journey. Has she tried to talking to her Alpha about it? Yep. And what does he have to say about it. Well, none other than 'she is not ready'. However, time was running thin for this Almair, because the Dark Forces were gathering their forces and they were about to attack again. There was another problem that Martha had to deal with, and that came in the form of a wolf, who thought that she was better than the Almair. That was not the worst of it. The worst of it was being blamed by this female into doing something that she hadn't done. Which in turn, lead to Martha's banishment of the pack and the leaving of her family. However, there was a good thing about leaving the pack, because she would find love as her prophecy had stated. But, will he love her or will he reject her. Can Martha become a Horse and live up to the expectations of the Almair? Will she find out if she is truly ready to be the Almair, or would she show everyone that she was just a phony?
