After the first Avengers, which took place in 2012, Loki went missing for 5 years, suffering under the hands of Thanos. Yet Thor managed to break him out and placed Loki under the care of Tony Stark.
After proposing to Pepper, Tony finally lives a decent life with his beautiful fiancé. Yet tragedy hit Ironman once again, taking Pepper away from him forever.
This is the story about how two psychopaths, who have hit rock bottom, struggle with each other and themselves on the road to recovery (and maybe find some love along the way).

Actually, the assumption is that in my story events from Infinity War and End Game never take place - let's say that it's a parallel universe (or a separate timeline - which is possible as we now know). Thor and Loki reach Earth - as they planned in the ending scene of Ragnarok - and start cooperating with the Avengers. Stark and Rogers, still not on best terms after Civil War, are forced to work together. Banner is happy to be back to work in the Avengers lab, but still keeping his distance from Natasha. Loki comes to earth seeking redemption by himself. Of his own free will. But what happens when the Avengers find him helping old people across the busy streets of New york. Everyone on the street runs in fear. The old lady he was helping pats him on the arm and thanks him. Much to the Avengers surprise. Now there's this huge fight going on. Civilians are running in every direction trying to get away from the fight. Some are getting caught in the middle so Loki tries his best to get them away. But the Avengers thinking he's trying to hold a hostage makes the situation even worse. Now Loki needs to get the civilian out of the way and defend himself. He cast a shield around himself and the people. Teleporting the people away he drops the shield . "Listen to me!" Loki groaned as the Avengers ignored his pleas. "What did you do?!" There was so much going on he didn't even see who asked the question. He just answered without thinking."Nothing! You people are the ones that attacked first. As I was helping someone! What if they had gotten hurt?!" The Avengers faltered for just a second before straightening their resolve. As the fight went on Loki was getting tired of their incompetence. "Stop!" Loki yelled heavily out of breath. All the Avengers were frozen by Loki's magic. Even the almighty Thor. "You so-called avengers just attacked me unprovoked, risked multiple lives, and won't even listen to what I have to say." He turned to Thor. "But this must seem normal to you my "dear brother" seeing how this is just like the old days." There was a few minutes of silence before anything happened. People started to flood the streets again. Trying to get a glimpse at the action. "Now since I don't want any trouble, I'll come with you without a fight. Like I would have done before had you not shot at my ass! Now I'm going to drop the spell. But don't you dare fire at me!"

On Asgard, Odin is critically ill, possibly even dying. Odin has banished Loki to Midgard for all eternity. Odin has sent for Thor to take the throne but Thor refuses because he doesn't want to leave Jane. Thor convinces Odin to lift Loki's banishment, so that Loki can take the throne. Odin then sends Thor to Midgard to find Loki. With the help of Heimdall, Thor finds Loki. He's singing in a Midgardian rock band. Once back on Midgard, Thor tells the Avengers that he must get Loki, so he can take the throne. Thor needs someone to talk to Loki on his behalf. Someone that Loki doesn't know. So, Thor enlists the help of a young woman who's in training to be an Avenger. However, the young woman is the little sister of an Avenger, who doesn't want her to do it. The young woman agrees to do it in spite of her brother's wishes. Thor and the young woman go to the club that Loki is working in so that she can talk to him. The young woman finds Loki and talks to him. When they first met, Loki and the young woman don't see eye to eye, but she manages to convince Loki to go back to the Avengers Tower and talk to Thor. Loki ends up falling in love with the young woman and wants to make her his queen. When Loki arrives at Avengers Tower to talk to Thor, Loki tells Thor that he won't leave without the young woman because he has chosen her as his queen. When Loki tells the young woman that he wants her to go back to Asgard with him as his queen, her brother refuses to let her go. This makes the young woman mad, and she decides to go back with Loki just to spite her brother. Now Loki must convince this high-spirited young woman that he really loves her. While on Asgard, the young woman starts to develop feelings for Loki and ends up falling in love with him. On Asgard, tragedy strikes the royal family, which causes the young woman to get closer to Loki. Will she stay on Asgard and become Loki's queen, or will she go back to Midgard?Complete

But they cannot bring themselves to trust the trickster even though he helped in the fight against Thanos. For Loki it's like he's reliving his life on Asgard. Never trusted. Everyone being wary of him. One day he suddenly disappears not before injuring himself badly. While the Avengers continue their search for Loki, Tony finds his diary. Read and learn about the life of the Norse God and what truly happened in the Mischief maker's life. This is an alternate universe to Infinity War where Loki lives.
