We are returning to claim what is ours." “Why would you return?” It was a struggle to keep the panic from his voice, and his stringy brown hair was now plastered to his forehead by a thin layer of sweat. “The one who is evil. The one of the sand and storms and desert. The one who murdered one of our own and was struck down by the light and air. The ancient one is returning, and we along with him. We shall stop his tyranny, yet we need the guiding light. The savior is required if we are to live. We must live. We must live. We must live. We must live.” Pale green eyes narrowed slightly in confusion, but the man knew better than to ask pointless questions. The Ancients do not stay long.' A century had passed by after the founding of the Academy, a place for humans and the supernatural descendants of gods to live side by side. For the most part, all was well. Humans were aware the others were among them, yet held no fear. The same was true of the descendants. Most at the Academy thought all would remain calm as it had for many centuries to come.
