This is a three chapter, short story, but don't think it's only going to take a few minutes to read. Each chapter is close to or just over 8000 words. The descriptions are broken up accordingly below. They are technically songfics, but it's more detailed than most songfics. I hope you enjoy it. :)
Evan Parker came from nothing, having grown up in an orphanage. He was tiny, often being the target for bullies with his pretty, almost feminine looks. Xavier Winchester was his savior...his knight in shining armor. Xavier Winchester was also his first and only love...his first and only everything. Then...Xavier starts to grow distant, hurting Evan more than he ever would have thought possible. The final nail in the coffin is when he finds out Xavier is engaged. He shattered in that moment...and when he pieced himself together...he was more broken than ever.
Xavier Winchester found Evan Parker when he was eight. Not understanding the urge to protect the small, frail boy being beaten, he acted on instinct. The sole heir to a massive chain of companies, the pressure on his shoulders is more than most have to bear but he finds time to spend with the boy he fell in love with...the boy who owned his heart. But forces push to drive them apart, playing underhanded and dirty and Xavier falls into the trap, breaking Evan's heart in the process.
Xavier finds himself facing a poorly pieced together Evan, hurting and angry, using the rage to protect his broken heart. He aches to repair the bond they once shared, to prove to Evan how undying his love is. Will he succeed? Or will he be turned away with broken bones, bruises and a crushed heart?

He put his hand over my notebook and the other over mine. I glared up at him, his golden brown eyes catching my attention.
"I can't write like this," I pointed out.
"Is this all you care about?" Ryan asked. I shrugged.
"Not this specifically, but yeah, I care about my grades." Ryan smirked. I swallowed nervously but refused to break my stoic expression. He leaned closer to me, my heart pounding so hard against my chest it felt like it might break out and fall on the table between us. His mouth was right by my ear, and I could feel his warm breath when he spoke which sent shivers down my spine.
"Well, aren't you a little a scholar?"

The only things Alex Moris ever cared about were his grades and his sister. However, when the boy his sister likes, Ryan Smithe, makes things complicated and causes him to feel things he's never felt before, Alex realizes that, maybe, there's more important things in life than grades and scholarships.
