I have been trying to do things for myself for awhile now. I just haven't found the motivation. That was until, my brother died. I never knew life could be so complicated and unfair at times. Well, now that he is gone, I know to take a hold of the things you want when you want them. I now know that I need to take every opportunity presented to me in this life.
This is kind of a short story based off of my life. However, it has a lot of fiction. Not everything will be true.

A Lovely Life
Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak. Why Am I Elena Gilbert?
You know, the idea of ending up in a fictional world such as this was supposed to be funny especially as Elena Gilbert because it could be throughly entertaining and disastrous. The best part, you're either dreaming a really long funny-messed up dream or you died and at least (most likely - hopefully) if you die you may end up back in your own body or you'll end up somewhere else you can mess everything up. Me? I happened to randomly wake up as Elena and considering my personality is much different from hers (and I've come to find extremely serious situations my favorite moment to laugh and be sarcastic) so I'm gonna mess everything up as much as I can. Do I really mind if I die? No. Why? Because I'm hoping once I die I'll either get home or end up elsewhere... being Sakura from Naruto would be entertaining, deadly, but entertaining This will end up being a Kai x Kol x Klaus x Elena x Tyler x Damon. This is My Life
I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! I always thought my life would be average. Maybe less. I thought maybe id get pregnant in highschool raise the child alone working hard to support us but i wouldn't trade the kid for anything. Or maybe id get a college scholarship, find some nice guy get married and adopt a kid cause its way better than having your own. I was waiting for my dad when my life changed. Not in any way like a fairy tale with magic wands or going through a rabbit hole like kids in the books do. More like I found it and wished my father came back to clean up his own problem instead of risking my life for this. I can only hope that I will make it out alive.
