Bianca Brownstan is a fifteen year old sophomore just trying to get ahead. Her family life was complicated, but she got into her dream school, she got the title of cheer captain against all odds, and she had her friends. As far as she was concerned, that's all she needed. But, deep down, she had locked something away-or someone. Someone close to her vanished from her life without a trace and she had never fully gotten over it. She still lived her life normally-as normally as she could.  However, secrets hidden within her school will prove normalcy is an illusion. Nothing is as it seems. Will the arrival of a mysterious stranger and psychic abilities bring her closer to the truth of her friend's disappearance? Will this stranger reveal more than just the sickening truth surrounding Bianca's universe? Or will he be her downfall-the end of Bianca Brownstan's reign over Hemingway Academy.
