"Beautiful," he mumbled to himself as he studied the way her hair fell down her shoulders. How her cheekbones sat. How her eyelashes brushed her brow bone. Everything about her.

"Hmm?" she sounded out. She heard what he said, but refused to believe he was saying it about her. She was probably hallucinating. She shook her head to try and clear her mind. He watched her in amusement. "Um sorry," she mumbled, "I think I'm hearing things."

She laughed awkwardly, letting her eyes stray from his face and look at anything else she could possibly look at.

"No you weren't," he corrected her. "You heard right."

She lifted her head in surprise and he was already smirking. The glint in his eyes told her that he wasn't lying either. Her heart swelled and she bit her lip instinctively. He groaned.

"Fuck Delilah don't do that," his eyes darkened as he admired her plump lips, waiting for the moment he could kiss them.

"For my sake."

"Then my mind must just imagine the way you react to my touch. The way you shiver when I'm close to you, the way your breath catches when I whisper in your ear," he said, his voice growing huskier as he leaned in closer. I could feel the heat radiating from his body, the intoxicating scent of his cologne filling my senses. His words, his proximity, everything about him was making it harder to maintain my composure. "And the way your pulse quickens," he continued, his fingers lightly grazing my wrist, "like it is right now. The way your lips part, waiting for my kiss. The way your body leans in, even when your mind says no." My heart was pounding, and I hated that he was right. I could feel the pull, the undeniable attraction that I was trying so hard to deny. Carter's eyes locked onto mine, and I could see the confidence there, the certainty that he had me figured out. "Admit it," he murmured, his breath warm against my skin. "You want this. Shakespeare said, the course of true love is never easy and so it is.Maybe it's your same cliché highschool badboy love story but with a touch of salt. Amidst all these drama of highschool and all the outer negative forces putting on their act, will their love sustain? ▪️▪️▪️ ▪️ His lips came closer and mine parted slightly but he diverted and dug his head in the crook of my neck. My fingers travelled through his hairs as he teased me with his lips playfully. Tracing my collarbone and then making it all the way up to my ears. My fingers wrapped around the back of his neck and I crashed my lips on his, perfectly entwining with the buttery movement. Our lips parted as our tongues met, dancing and twirling as if discovering each inch. The continuation of his nibbling at my lower lip dragged it much deeper into more velvety chemistry and more passionately electrifying. When our lips parted, we were utterly breathless. I just lost myself, sitting on his lap and staring into his eyes. "Shall we have breakfast?" I whispered. "I'm having mine right now," he whispered as his lips brushed against my ear and he gently bit my earlobe. "Ah!" a silent gasp left my lips automatically and I felt his smirk against my skin. 🥉Black and Gold Flames Awards © SANYUKTA

When Ava and her friends decide to play their own version of "Truth or Dare", Ava winds up kissing someone she never expected... and wanting more? --STORY SAMPLE: When I was closer than a foot from him, I tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and smiled. Oh my lord. This guy was even hotter up close. I shoved all the thoughts from my head and said "Hi. My name's Ava." He smiled again and said "Nice to meet you. I'm Zander." That's all he could say before I kissed him. He immediately tensed up, but then he did something I didn't expect. He kissed me back and grabbed my waist, pulling me closer. I opened my mouth a little in shock, and his tongue went in my mouth. He tasted like rainwater and peppermint. Despite myself, I moaned a little when he deepened the kiss even further. After what felt like 2 hours, we broke apart. "I'm sorry," he said blushing a little "but it just kinda clicked." he explained, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's okay." I said, also starting to blush a little. For 2 minutes the awkward just settled between us, and I swear it was tangible. He broke the silence first, finally meeting my eyes and not staring at his high-tops. "So...", he started and chuckled nervously "Could I get your number?" I stared at him for a second wondering if it would even be a good idea, when he said "I know we don't know each other, but I felt fireworks just now, and even if we don't go on a date, I'd love to see you again." I just smiled and asked for his phone. ------- Remember to vote, follow, comment, etc. :) FOLLOW MY NEW INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT @felicitybwrites
