"Beautiful," he mumbled to himself as he studied the way her hair fell down her shoulders. How her cheekbones sat. How her eyelashes brushed her brow bone. Everything about her.

"Hmm?" she sounded out. She heard what he said, but refused to believe he was saying it about her. She was probably hallucinating. She shook her head to try and clear her mind. He watched her in amusement. "Um sorry," she mumbled, "I think I'm hearing things."

She laughed awkwardly, letting her eyes stray from his face and look at anything else she could possibly look at.

"No you weren't," he corrected her. "You heard right."

She lifted her head in surprise and he was already smirking. The glint in his eyes told her that he wasn't lying either. Her heart swelled and she bit her lip instinctively. He groaned.

"Fuck Delilah don't do that," his eyes darkened as he admired her plump lips, waiting for the moment he could kiss them.

"For my sake."

"Then my mind must just imagine the way you react to my touch. The way you shiver when I'm close to you, the way your breath catches when I whisper in your ear," he said, his voice growing huskier as he leaned in closer. I could feel the heat radiating from his body, the intoxicating scent of his cologne filling my senses. His words, his proximity, everything about him was making it harder to maintain my composure. "And the way your pulse quickens," he continued, his fingers lightly grazing my wrist, "like it is right now. The way your lips part, waiting for my kiss. The way your body leans in, even when your mind says no." My heart was pounding, and I hated that he was right. I could feel the pull, the undeniable attraction that I was trying so hard to deny. Carter's eyes locked onto mine, and I could see the confidence there, the certainty that he had me figured out. "Admit it," he murmured, his breath warm against my skin. "You want this. You want me." ✺✺✺✺✺✺✺✺✺✺ When 17-year-old Olivia Hayes is unexpectedly paired with Carter, the skilled and charismatic dance captain, for a challenging duet, her life takes an unexpected turn. When Ava and her friends decide to play their own version of "Truth or Dare", Ava winds up kissing someone she never expected... and wanting more? --STORY SAMPLE: When I was closer than a foot from him, I tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and smiled. Oh my lord. This guy was even hotter up close. I shoved all the thoughts from my head and said "Hi. My name's Ava." He smiled again and said "Nice to meet you. I'm Zander." That's all he could say before I kissed him. He immediately tensed up, but then he did something I didn't expect. He kissed me back and grabbed my waist, pulling me closer. I opened my mouth a little in shock, and his tongue went in my mouth. He tasted like rainwater and peppermint. Despite myself, I moaned a little when he deepened the kiss even further. After what felt like 2 hours, we broke apart. "I'm sorry," he said blushing a little "but it just kinda clicked." he explained, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's okay." I said, also starting to blush a little. For 2 minutes the awkward just settled between us, and I swear it was tangible. He broke the silence first, finally meeting my eyes and not staring at his high-tops. "So...", he started and chuckled nervously "Could I get your number?" I stared at him for a second wondering if it would even be a good idea, when he said "I know we don't know each other, but I felt fireworks just now, and even if we don't go on a date, I'd love to see you again." I just smiled and asked for his phone. ------- Remember to vote, follow, comment, etc. :) FOLLOW MY NEW INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT @felicitybwrites

(under editing, interested ones may reach out to me) In the symphony of love, their melodies intertwined, yet fate's chorus whispered no promise of forever. In a journey where hearts yearned but souls wandered apart, they discovered that true love sometimes meant embracing the courage to release, for the sake of finding happiness in the echoes of what could have been. ... SNEAK A PEAK Never have I ever thought that one day, I'll wake up to hear these words from a person I love the most, romantically. I pushed him back, I held him by his shoulders and pinned to the wall. I know I wrongfully confined him, but how dare he? 'You dare question my love for you?" I raised my voice. He is surprised, he widened his little eyes, those I would love to stare at all day or may be he is shocked as well. HAHA!! I Find it annoyingly funny how easily he quoted 'Thank god, You didn't love me too deep in the ocean', "Oh darling, wait till you drown inside and ask for my help when you can't swim to the shore" I retorted and defended my love.
