Allea Illantro has always been terrified of something. Becoming the next Queen, something she unequivocally believes she isn't ready for. Being the last Diviage, a term that confers upon her an extraordinary amount of power she can't even control. Even the prospect of romance with her attractive older mentor scares her half to death. But you can't hide in fear forever, something that this Princess will soon learn.

When a premonition awakens her to the danger of truly losing command over her strange magic, Allea sets out on an almost accidental adventure - fleeing the safety of the Palace she grew up in to look for the only living Light Mage. Finding a lot more than she anticipated beyond the supposed safety of the castle walls, she finds herself joining forces with several unlikely allies to defeat unexpected adversaries and attempt to win her own mental battle.
