Finally, Kurt and Kerri have the chance to be together without anyone getting in the way!

Or do they?

Everything seems fine at first, but after a mission to save a child from a group calling themselves "the Push" they get a surprise. Kerri's not sure what to do about it, but she knows it's not fair to Kurt, so she hides it for the time being.

Meanwhile, "the Push" is larger than they thought, only being the front for an extremely rich benefactor who has their hands in more than a few pies and is intent in getting their way.

Only, the consequences of the benefactor's actions may have lasting effects on Kerri, and therefore Kurt, forever.

Suddenly Kerri's gone and no one knows where she is. Kurt doesn't believe for a moment what Scott says about her running away to hide, but then, where is she, and who can find her?

If the X-Men can manage to find Kerri and to get rid of the benefactor, will they be able to make it back to life as they knew it, or will it be changed forever?

And what about the damage left behind?

Unlike his peers, Kurt's obvious physical mutation was something he was both praised and tormented for. His past is riddled with suffering, but what happens when events force him to reveal himself and tell his story to his friends in order for them to help him heal. Do they understand what it really means to be considered a monster? (I really enjoyed the show Xmen Evolution, but I think there was a missed opportunity for them to delve into Nightcrawler's backstory. This is a slightly darker tone than the show, but how I would go about his origin. Back with another story of our dynamic DJ duo, and their wacky but nerve wracking adventures: This time Shine and Wally are being sent into the world of the X-men. It seems like a snap (not the Thanos kind), they're already familiar with the MCU, and Wally is even a big fan. But as usual things don't go quite how they envisioned. Turns out being human in a world where mutants fear and avoid humans is not the easiest recipe for success in World Walking. And as if that wasn't enough, there are soon plenty of resurfacing villains, inner demons, and terrorism and prejudice to keep everyone just barely on the edge of sanity. Shine and Wally struggle to earn the trust of the X-men, even while they are being undermined by both inside and outside forces, and put to the test by other groups of embittered mutants, such as the Morlocks. The appearance of Mystique poses a new set of challenges, especially as they try to work with Nightcrawler and some other new faces with problems and setbacks of their own. Will they be able to pull this off and will the world be better or worse for their interference? Only one way to find out: (Feels like these intros are about as cheesy as the actual comic lines usually are, so I guess it fits the genre, lol)
