"Hold on I think I forgot something" I run back to my older brothers bedroom and look under the old wore out mattress on a rusty bed frame. "I almost forgot you" I whispered to myself, as I run out the house to the taxi cab waiting outside my driveway. "what were you getting" my mother questioned while buckling in nick my little brother. "Oh nothing" I sighed and looked out the tented taxi cab window watching the bright blue sky. Tessa moves from Chicago to Florida with her mom and little brother Nick. Completed✔️ Disclaimer: I wrote this when I was 15 so it is a bit cliché, and many mistakes in the story:) All Brooklyn's life, she's been more of a boy than a girl. She's only ever lived with her single dad and her three older brothers, which means she was bound to grow up more like them. So, when she moved all the way from New York to Tennessee, it wasn't much of a surprise until she met Alex, the one of many popular boys at the high school. Until she realized that Alex decided to make her life a living hell. Well, that's what Brooklyn thought, at least... ___ "He leaned in and put a hand behind my head to kiss me, leaving me frozen and speechless. Almost instinctively, after a moment of processing, I stood on my tippy toes and replaced my fingers in his hair, my other hand on his neck. Butterflies exploded in my stomach, replacing my hunger for food, as he pressed me against a vacant wall. Without a word, he lifted me up while my legs wrapped around his waist, leaning in closer to him, even after there was no more space to fill."
