Nozomi Kiriya is a girl of little words. And they're usually nothing nice to say. She's a pessimist. Always ready for a fight, always belittling others, always looking at the worse in others. A girl like her is enrolled in U.A., a school for heroes in training. Following her childhood friend here, she stays and merely watches over him. To keep him safe.

A girl with little motivation and deep hatred for people manages to get into A Class Hero Course. How can someone like her possibly become a hero when she doesn't even believe in them? 

She's not hero material. She doesn't believe it, and neither does anybody else. Yet her friends seem to disagree. Entering this school has changed her, little by little she's opening up. Her walls are coming down and her emotions are growing. However, once these walls start to crumble a dark secret begins to come out.

The reason she is the way she is. It wasn't because she wanted to. It was to protect them from herself. A darkness is attached to her. And it's not letting go. It's a darkness that has taken everything she is. 

It's too late for her. This is her burdden to bear. Not theirs. 

Can a girl so wrapped up in her own darkness ever become a hero? No, before that, the question must be answered. Are there heroes?

It's a habit of mine, but also because the girls in class 1-A don't really have strong, visually pleasing Quirks like the boys. I'm not saying their Quirks aren't cool; I actually really like Tsu, Yaoyorozu, and Jirou's Quirks.) This story follows the time, storyline, and events of My Hero Academia season 1. I don't own the anime, My Hero Academia, but I do own my OC Katana Nozomi. I have to say though, I often changed up and added my own little parts into a lot of different events in the story, so, if something completely different happens from the original episode, don't be surprised. Also, I've made some of the characters mean at times, Uraraka being one of them. I don't have anything against her, it's just that she also likes Midoriya, so naturally, she'd be jealous of Katana and she'd act more spitefully towards her. I once again, apologize if you're unsatisfied with my story and/ or my OC, if you don't like it, simply don't read it, or read it and keep your thoughts to yourself. I really don't see the point in spreading hate. Katana's information is explained in the first chapter so you'll find most of what you need to know there. Things like her backstory will be explained further in the story. I'll just clear this up, because (if anyone even reads this sad excuse of a story) I know some people will probably spam "AVATAR" in the comments: Katana is not an/or the 'Avatar', thank you. My story also might include foul language at times, graphic content, mentions of blood or gore, and depression and/or suicide. (Depends when I write it). Hey, I said it was dark, don't say I didn't warn you.

The villains gained a new pawn who's quirk was to make a person's darkest feelings overcome them. With this pawn they decided they could make a UA student join them in villainy, the question was which one of them would work against her quirk. Izuku Midoriya would not work against her quirk because his righteousness and want to be a hero is too strong, They new first hand that Katsuki Bakugou wouldn't work, even if it seemed it would. Shoto Todoroki, Momo Yaoyorozu, Tenya Iida, none of these people looked to have had dark thoughts. Kura kept searching through each and every student's lives, their middle school life, and more. Until she found the middle school photo's of Eijiro Kirishima. He didn't smile, His hair was raven black, with sad eyes. With this discovery, they decided taking Kirishima and seeing if her theories were true. She was right. (Villain Kirishima au because barely anyone has made one) ALSO! There will be kiribaku in this cuz I'm a sucker for it. The story takes place sometime after Camino Angsty moments but don't worry I'll most likely make a happy end READ THIS BEFORE STARTING! So the way I left off this story could be considered a good ending but it's not a complete ending and is left to interpretation, this is because I'm not super into MHA as much any more so I've lost a lot of my motivation to continue this story. However, if after season five starts and I get back into show again I might continue writing. Currently, I've finally spread out interests wise and now my brain rots over AOT and HxH, along with many others. You don't have to give up on this fic, but I just wanted to tell you to not get your hopes up. Love you guys, and thank you so much for the support, reading your comments brightens my day.
