"Kylo" a weary whisper left her chapped lips. The dark knight broke his unwavering gaze, briefly shutting his eyes. Kylo... not Ben. Why was that painful? Perhaps it was intimacy he craved. Her lips made it sound sacred, made him want to be called that name again. His eyes snapped back to her. She finally acknowledged him. He had to answer- he saved her life after all.

It is highly smutty, but tells a genuine story. The inspiration behind this story is my desire to see Kylo written differently. I love the Ren fics I've read, but I wanted to hash out a less abusive Kylo. He is still a dark lord, and he still doesn't wish to be in the light. But when it comes to love, can Kylo be soft? A lot of the story follows canon. The biggest difference is there is no Rey. No hate to the character, she just doesn't fit into this retelling!
