My life as a teenager, with real emotions. Before everything happened, during, and afterwards. This book will have poetry in it and be full of my thoughts, feelings, love, and even personality . This is a raw story that I would love to become a real book one day. There is swearing in this book for expression. This has a lot to do with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. After dropping out of university and having a one night stand that went nowhere, April turned into the girl she is now-lifeless, angry and unhappy with her life. But one day, she gets an idea that might change her life-to begin writing about the life she's always wanted. Will writing help April find what she's looking for? Or will she live a dead-end life forever? This is the story of a girl who, despite all the odds she saw stacked against her, decided to create the hope she desperately needed.

An abstract, autobiographical coming-of-age story written in poetic prose that chronicles my journey from adolescent to adult by delving into my mind and my subconscious. It focuses on my mental state in my overcoming trials relating to loneliness, anxiety, depression, and existential dread by exploring key themes such as identity, love and existence. Originally written as a diary, my hope is that the work will assist in breaking down stigmas relating to sex, drugs, Asperger's, mental illness and male vulnerability.
