When Aurora Hakatashi escapes from her cell in the Diclonius Research Institute, she meets an unlikely group: the Task Force. After moving in with them, L starts to suspect something strange about Aurora. He starts to believe that she is on Kira's team. So L does his research by getting closer to Aurora. Soon, he finds himself closer than he expected.
