The efforts to fix the rift machine have failed and while talking with Ianto it was clear that the Void machine from Torchwood One would be their best bet to rebuild a new one. The only problem is that the base was left completely untouched. Even the dead are still there due to risks none of the factions wanted to take. Its the dirtiest job in Torchwood Three history, but when the team gets there they find that the facility isn't as dead as they had hoped...

That's where Outcast's story picked up again for the better, surprisingly, and with her unlikely friend they manage to escape with the chaos of Cybermen and Daleks around them. Will it grow worse for The Outcast once more when Torchwood Three finds her or will her distrust of Torchwood be changed? Her friend loved her new home, but Outcast wasn't one to trust others easily. In fact she just wants to leave the past in the past to find a better future away from those she hates, but of course when aliens attack it won't be easy to just leave Shylah behind to face the attack with the Torchwood members. With that burdening her escape plans she decides to end the fight quickly... That is easier thought than done though...
