When Nelila Slent gets rescued from the mysterious Shadowhunters after being abused her whole life, she is trying hard not to let anyone know her deepest secret. But it gets harder an harder as these strangers become friends. Soon she figures out that she will not be able to keep her mouth shut for long, because the darkness of her past is coming, and it's coming fast. IMPORTANT: this is a fan-fic that I have been writing for a while. It is based on The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare, who is an AWESOME author. Time didn't matter to her. She was expecting to die and have her corpse eaten by rats and other vermin. What she didn't expect was to be saved by a woman that was everything but human. "Do you want to live?" This woman asked and when she looked into herself she knew the answer, it came easy through her busted lips. "Yes." From that day on she became something else, something not human, something extraordinary and from that day forth she will serve this woman who saved her life and maybe one day remember her name or be given one by her new Mistress. They meet up with the Shadow hunters from the London institute and seem to be getting along when something happens they did not see coming.
