Shadow and Sterling are sent on a simple mission by the guard, a boring mission neither of them want to go on; patrol a trade route path. Sterling is a unicorn and is prepared to do his duty to the crown and uphold the standards set before him by his predecessors, he won't waver in his conviction to the task. He isn't ready for the happy and energetic mare he's sent with. Shadow, on the other hand, is a happy thestral mare who only wants to live to the idea dream of being a guard. Spending her youth reading books about gallant mares rushing into battle and saving the day, she hopes for her moment to shine. She doesn't know how little fun it's going to be working with such a stoic stallion, while barely repressing her diestrus urges.Complete
