All my life I thought I was brave
I thought because I had amazing parents and siblings that I was brave for the world
For this world
I thought when it came to defending for my friends religion or ethnicity that I was brave
I was the girl in high school who everyone knew would stand up for the ones below
I was compared to a lions strength
I could be brave at anything but when it came to Isa
When it came to Isa I couldn't
I couldn't be brave
To tell him that I loved him
This is a story of how I fell in love with my best friend
And he, he taught me that we all can't be as brave as a lion
But we can be watchers over our bravery
We could be queens and kings over our bravery
