Aria and Drake exchange a mischievous look and some hidden joke passes between them. "Let's just say our story is a little different than most," Drake says.

Aria scoffs and rolls her eyes. "Oh yeah cause a lot of girls find out they were dating a CIA agent."

Drake laughs. "Fine. Our story is a lot different. But that's just a little detail. Everything else is pretty normal."

"I don't know about that little detail part, but sure, I guess everything else is average. You were definitely the introvert with player tendencies."

"You had your own problems too," Drake points out. "You were the new girl who just kept drifting around her whole life and had some major mood swings."

Aria points her finger at Drake with a sound of indignation. "I'd like to say that was because of a certain someone driving me insane!"

"Oh like you weren't equally annoying!" Drake shoots back.

"No way!" Aria protests.

Drake rolls his eyes and leans forward on his knees. "Okay this is how the story goes..."

Geovanni Have you ever gotten that feeling that somebody was watching you? And that person who was watching you wasn't normal. I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I was there an extra year because I had to take care of my family. I had to transfer back into the city and pick up the extra work because my mom died, and my dad became addicted to anything that would numb his pain. My little sister and brother would be lost without me here. But now I could care less. A cold breeze blew through my window waking me up from my thoughts. I looked over in the corner and saw that nothing was there. It was odd because I felt like someone well more like something was there. It had to be my imagination getting the best of me. I laid back in my bed and closed my eyes. Then all of a sudden I got the feeling I wasn't alone. But the really strange thing is that even if there was someone in here with me I felt safe. Jordan. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?" "Ezra, you know once you turn them, they hate you," "I didn't hate pops," "You wanted to join though," "True, but first see if she wants to be turn before you jump to conclusions," I nodded my head, before me and Ezra took off to find some fresh blood for the night.

An alarm bell rang, the main computer's voice sending chills up my spine. Hearing Masquerade Ventos over and over again sent me crashing through my former place of employment. Skidding to a stop in front of an open window, the bounty on my head would set anyone up for life. A breeze blew my shaggy layered hair up, a rich black claiming my bangs and the hair lining my face. Jet black tips tickled my cheeks, my shaking hands ripping off a rope from my cargo pants. Tying the rope around the window's handle, a lump formed in my throat at the rope bouncing done the remaining half of the building. Propelling down gingerly, my slight fear of heights was going to the death of me. Feeling around for solid ground, the heels of my boots hit the cracked pavement. Sprinting into the crowd on the street, a dozen spies descended upon me. Snatching a sweatshirt from a chair, a flick of my wrist had it floating onto me. Disappearing into the bathroom, I hopped on top of the toilet. Dozens of footfalls clicked in, the stall doors blew open. Counting them, mine would be next. Clammy sweat drenched my skin, a group of women coming in causing them to leave. Jumping off the toilet, I poked my head out. Giggling like a bunch of idiots, a polite smile disarmed them. Ditching the hoodie in the trash, confusion twisted their features as I pulled myself through the small window on the other side of the bathroom. Landing inches from my enemy's entrance, a long sigh drew from my lips. He was the only one who could help me bring down my corrupt employer, my fingers curling around the edge of the sewer lid. Jumping down while placing it back, disgusting water splashed over the top of my boots. Closing my eyes, the map of his headquarters played out in my head. Opening my eyes, his face hovered inches from mine.

"Ravyn, I don't even know if I'm into guys," Cal whispered harshly. "Torin isn't a guy, he's a man, and you're into him," the willowy girl insisted, pushing her cousin forward roughly. He groaned, which caught Torin's attention, distracting him from whatever was on his phone. "Oh, hey, Cal," Torin greeted politely. He looked over the blond's shoulder at Ravyn, who was definitely up to something. She had a smile on her face that only showed up when she was being devious. "Did Ravyn put you up to something? Because I promise I can take her any day, no matter what she says," the other man spoke. He didn't have a chance to say more before Cal was, probably stupidly, kissing him. As he pulled away, he saw a shocked Torin, and the blond swore under his breath. He was going to kill Ravyn. This had been a horrible idea. //// The Coalition: Somewhere between a secret society, an organized crime family, and a government body, they rule the world from the background. Enter Ravyn White, Excalibur "Cal" Cole, Torin Sloane, and Atticus "Ace" Blackbourne. A spy with a grudge and a penchant for insulting people, a grumpy assassin with misplaced loyalty, a reluctant assassin who would rather Cal figures his crap out already, and a spy that is rumored to have failed his psych eval. Their friendships are complicated, strange, and sometimes unhealthy, but what else is there to expect from four older teenagers with body counts from their beds and their weapons?

I looked at him in shock, "How do you know that?" "I know a lot of things about you, Ms. Prior, even things you don't know yourself." Excuse me? "From what you can do," he paused giving me a look before directing his gaze back at the field. "To your eye color. Your parents have blue ones, so I don't see how that works." What? He continued without question, "You are still a mystery to us, as you have never showed any signs of power before, so it's sort of confusing." He paused for a few seconds them said, "You're different; you have an ability. You're a Supernatural." "Ok, I really need to go so..." I began walking back, but he stuck out his arm to block me. And that's when it happened. Flames rose on his arms, lighting them on fire. I backed up, feeling the heat radiate off his arms. I was in utter shock, yet he looked relaxed, amused even. "What the hell are you?" I jumped back, and the fire went out, a smirk rising on his face. "I'm just like you." ***** Kayla Prior has always been a popular girl, and everyone looks up to her. "You're staring at him again," Valentina sighs. "Hm?" I responded, not catching on to what Valentina was inferring. She tugs on my arm and shakes her head, chuckling. "You were staring at Mateo." She takes a sip of her coffee, looking up at me. "I'm not," I reply, "I was just daydreaming in his direction, it's his fault for sitting there." "Then why was there that look on your face just now?" "What?" I turn to her and she raises an eyebrow, "What look, Val?" "You look a certain way when you see him," Val pauses, to turn towards Mateo who was laughing at some joke Diego made, "You look at him as if he's some sort of new high-tech gun." "And?" Valentina sips her coffee, grinning at me, "You love guns." Maliyah is a tough nut to crack. She was brought up for her shell to never crack, never to let anyone walk through the door that leads to her heart, which is why she vows to only fuck, never to open that door leading to a relationship. I turned around the corner of the building, testing to see if they would follow me, and they did. I headed all the way up to my room. The twins had just walked in, leaving the door open behind them. I walked in, and as I predicted, the two people following me entered after me. Mordecai closed the door before they could even blink. They didn't look the least bit fazed though. The girl is model worthy in all her fitness glory. Her long, black hair was in a single braid down her back, while she wore skinny jeans, a tank top and sneakers. Her eyes were mysterious and I couldn't get a read on her. The guy didn't look all that intimidating, but then again, I could say the same about Nick and I found out that he's Zero, as much as I am yet to believe it. The guy has blonde hair with dark and almost calculating eyes. It was difficult to pinpoint him too. "Who the hell are you and who sent you?" I asked them. "None of your questions are relevant right now. We need your help," the guy said. I was automatically irked by his dismissive manner. I crossed my arms. "And why would I help you?" "Because both you and Elle's lives are in danger if you don't," the girl replied. Elle? As in my fiancée? "Elliephant is alive?" Malachi asked, but there was something to his tone. The guy nodded. "She is, but she needs your help." "When Bridge said she saw her yesterday, I thought she was being delusional," Malachi commented. And he failed to tell me this. "Where is she?" I questioned our 'guests'. "Here on campus," they replied. "So she hasn't even bothered coming to find us?" Mordecai asked. "It's complicated," the girl replied. I reserved my comment and instead asked. "And what exactly is it that you need me to do?" "We need you to make her fall in love with you again."
