Aria and Drake exchange a mischievous look and some hidden joke passes between them. "Let's just say our story is a little different than most," Drake says.

Aria scoffs and rolls her eyes. "Oh yeah cause a lot of girls find out they were dating a CIA agent."

Drake laughs. "Fine. Our story is a lot different. But that's just a little detail. Everything else is pretty normal."

"I don't know about that little detail part, but sure, I guess everything else is average. You were definitely the introvert with player tendencies."

"You had your own problems too," Drake points out. "You were the new girl who just kept drifting around her whole life and had some major mood swings."

Aria points her finger at Drake with a sound of indignation. "I'd like to say that was because of a certain someone driving me insane!"

"Oh like you weren't equally annoying!" Drake shoots back.

"No way!" Aria protests.

Drake rolls his eyes and leans forward on his knees. "Okay this is how the story goes..."

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. Ariana Rollins runs from her past life and ends up in an apartment filled with crazy people and in a cafe with a boss who dislikes her. After losing her job she signs up for a cupid competition hoping to win a mouth watering prize. Ace Jones, her archenemy ends up entering same competition and they both get picked as partners. "You" I said as a scowl slowly grew on my face. "Shouldn't you be a hobo in New York begging for your last meal?" He asked with that smirk I've always despised. "And shouldn't you be in hell getting viciously ass raped by Satan?" I retorted and his smirk turned to a small smile. "I see you haven't changed, same vixen I once knew" "You haven't either, same dumb idiot I wish I never knew" I replied folding my arms. ____________________________ I was running as fast as possible trying to outrun those goons after us, i turned to Ace who ran beside me "What the hell is going on?" I asked and he stared at me briefly "I'm sorry" He said "You're sorry?... Sorry is what you say to people when you accidentally step on their foot or spill their coffee idiot.. Sorry isn't what you say when you get me involved in being chased by fucking assassins" I said sternly before taking a turn into an alley. "Shit! It's a fucking dead end" Ace said ________________________________ Two long time rivals unexpectedly ends up in same place at wrong time... Or was it the right time? I turned around the corner of the building, testing to see if they would follow me, and they did. I headed all the way up to my room. The twins had just walked in, leaving the door open behind them. I walked in, and as I predicted, the two people following me entered after me. Mordecai closed the door before they could even blink. They didn't look the least bit fazed though. The girl is model worthy in all her fitness glory. Her long, black hair was in a single braid down her back, while she wore skinny jeans, a tank top and sneakers. Her eyes were mysterious and I couldn't get a read on her. The guy didn't look all that intimidating, but then again, I could say the same about Nick and I found out that he's Zero, as much as I am yet to believe it. The guy has blonde hair with dark and almost calculating eyes. It was difficult to pinpoint him too. "Who the hell are you and who sent you?" I asked them. "None of your questions are relevant right now. We need your help," the guy said. I was automatically irked by his dismissive manner. I crossed my arms. "And why would I help you?" "Because both you and Elle's lives are in danger if you don't," the girl replied. Elle? As in my fiancée? "Elliephant is alive?" Malachi asked, but there was something to his tone. The guy nodded. "She is, but she needs your help." "When Bridge said she saw her yesterday, I thought she was being delusional," Malachi commented. And he failed to tell me this. "Where is she?" I questioned our 'guests'. "Here on campus," they replied. "So she hasn't even bothered coming to find us?" Mordecai asked. "It's complicated," the girl replied. I reserved my comment and instead asked. "And what exactly is it that you need me to do?" "We need you to make her fall in love with you again."
A Coalition Story by sexyrasputin

"Ravyn, I don't even know if I'm into guys," Cal whispered harshly. "Torin isn't a guy, he's a man, and you're into him," the willowy girl insisted, pushing her cousin forward roughly. He groaned, which caught Torin's attention, distracting him from whatever was on his phone. "Oh, hey, Cal," Torin greeted politely. He looked over the blond's shoulder at Ravyn, who was definitely up to something. She had a smile on her face that only showed up when she was being devious. "Did Ravyn put you up to something? Because I promise I can take her any day, no matter what she says," the other man spoke. He didn't have a chance to say more before Cal was, probably stupidly, kissing him. As he pulled away, he saw a shocked Torin, and the blond swore under his breath. He was going to kill Ravyn. This had been a horrible idea. //// The Coalition: Somewhere between a secret society, an organized crime family, and a government body, they rule the world from the background. Located on the outskirts of Carvell, a smaller sized town, is the training academy for students aged 15 to 21. Filled with students studying business and teaching, the school also trains assassins and spies. These students go on to infiltrate national governments, kill kings and queens, start and end wars, and cause more chaos and drama than is sanctioned by their leaders. Enter Ravyn White, Excalibur "Cal" Cole, Torin Sloane, and Atticus "Ace" Blackbourne. A spy with a grudge and a penchant for insulting people, a grumpy assassin with misplaced loyalty, a reluctant assassin who would rather Cal figures his crap out already, and a spy that is rumored to have failed his psych eval. Their friendships are complicated, strange, and sometimes unhealthy, but what else is there to expect from four older teenagers with body counts from their beds and their weapons?
