LOLA SAINT GERMAIN WAS a risk taker. She was bright and clever with a fiery personality that could scorch you to the bone with a few simple, yet perfectly calculated words, or melt your heart into gooey heap with one of her contagious laughs. She was fire personified with the gentlest of hearts.
Or rather, that was how it used to be.
Something happened to snuff out that glow in her as effortlessly as the faintest gusts of wind blowing out candlelight. The fire within her dimmed down to ashy embers and she became little more than a shell of her previous self.
However, hidden beneath all that ash, lay a lingering spark; waiting for some kind of kindling to fully ignite it to its previous glory, to tend to her low burning flame.
She never expected it would come in the form of whiskey eyes and a sinful mouth.
Lola must decide whether or not she's willing to allow the mounting inferno to get close enough. Must decide whether to embrace it and let it consume her, or get burned beyond repair.
