Audrey is an escaped convict from the penitentiary of sanity. When he lost his wife and son, he married Alcoholics Anonymous, and now he cheats on his new spouse every chance he gets. Audrey's story begins when he meets the woman. Not the love of his life, or even a one night stand, or a date. Just a woman. She is lovely, beautiful, perky. She is something else. Audrey quickly finds out why people should never hook up with someone they meet at a bar, and what it is really like to be tossed down the steep, tumultuous path of painful rebirth. Aided by a younger-- and occasionally wiser-- friend, who juggles education and an almost unthinkable side job, and a girl who appears out of the hallucinatory fog of Audrey's physiological nose dive, Audrey is tasked with solving the Rubix cube of reimagining his mind, body and soul.
