He just needed an apartment that would be okay with his job. Trying to keep to his price range and find what he needed was proving to be so much harder than he thought it would. This would be his first time moving somewhere that he didn't know the owners of the place beforehand. "Welcome to YouTube life, idiot." Virgil grumbled to himself. He picked up his phone again, going to close out of the app he was using, but suddenly a line on one that he hadn't looked at caught his eye. 'Must be willing to allow for eccentric work ethics and schedules, as owner of the apartment works independently online.' Virgil tapped on the listing and began to read. 'Four bedroom apartment, looking for up to three roommates. Apartments beneath and above are both empty at the moment, noise is not a problem so long as residents are courteous. Preferred that applicants are male.' Virgil stared at the listing. This was so... so perfect. He closed the app and tapped his messenger app. 'Hey Pat, I think I found something.' Disclaimer: I just reread A Lesson in Practicality by @residentanchor, so there might be some things ever so slightly similar to that, but if there are I am not doing it on purpose and I apologize. Everything is going to be alright, you don't have to cry anymore, I'm right here to protect you." Logan pulled me into another hug, and I was so glad he did because I really needed it. "Do you need me to take you home?" He asked me. I quickly shook my head no. "N-no, can we go to your place?" I asked trying to keep my voice from cracking. "But your parents don't like having you out of the house..." Logan took a moment to look me up and down. The tears on my face, the bags that were by my feet, the sudden phone call at midnight. "Patton, were you kicked out?" he asked, I slowly shook my head. "Are you trying to run away?" He asked again, this time I slowly nodded. He sighed and opened his car door. "I can't just leave you all alone. I know how your family is, you can stay with me for awhile and everything will be fine." He buckled my seatbelt for me took m bags and put them in the trunk, and then came back to kiss my forehead. "I promise."
