The humans have been mistreating the mages, wizards, and witches! The two Queens have decided to fight back! The two defeated the humans, and lived in peace with them. The Queens separated, each living in a different part of their region. 

However, the Dark Queen was unsatisfied with the results of the war. She wanted to take over all human regions. She attacked the south first, then started to slowly move all around... 

The Queen thought that her sister would be fighting by her side, as she did before. But her sister is actually her enemy now, and she's helping the hero, Edmund, attack! 

During the battle, the Dark Queen and her trusty servant are sucked into the human world. They have no idea how this world works....

Phoenix is trying to do her job and protect the innocent, only this certain vampire has gone on a killing spree, and won't stop. While reading this book you will learn, that witches were chosen to protect because even though vampires have the power to kill, witches are stronger. And phoenix will learn the ups and downs of a vampire and also learn to reunite both sides in order to defeat a common enemy. The only question is will she survive this nightmare.
