So, you've read a few of our main books. Wonder how cool it would be to actually BE an animal in your boring old school life?
How would it feel to be sitting in class knowing that in a few hours time you'd be galloping across the plains as a horse, or scaling trees as a snow leopard, or slithering through impossible holes as a snake?
What about if you were forced into fitness training in the sweltering heat of the day, but knowing that soon you'd be soaring through the sky as an owl, or sprinting through million-year-old trees as a Cheetah, or fetching the sticks your friends threw into the lake for you as a dog?
Or what if you had to go to bed horribly early, but knew that late you were secretly planning to sneak out and howl at the moon with your best friends as a wolf?
Well, these are a recollection of small stories from the Animals Within group, from their school life to their secret lives as animals.

The Last Dragon
(This book is really old, I am no longer active on this account. Expect bad grammar, plot holes, etc.. You can find me now @xCaptainCl3mentinex) Long ago.before the dinosaurs.it was the time of dragon's.big dragons,small dragons,wingless dragons.red,dragons,purple dragons..... Till one day,the earth had to have a new start.it wiped out all the dragon's,in a great disaster that spread across the world. But just as the first sign started.just as the tsunami was about to hit the land.the mother Dragon put her egg,inside the cave of protection;the cave that won't let any harm come to those whom are in it.the egg was to be safe.but it would never,ever hatch,unless someone was there to take care of it;meaning if a dragon survived. But the cave and it's magic is now so old,it doesn't know the difference,when the feather of a mother crow touches it.the egg hatches and the baby is helpless,but finds it's was to the crow who freed it.this crow named Cradline,has just lost her chicks and was outcast from her home,so she feels pitty for the dragon.even if it was a mythical dangerous creature,Cradline knew she was looking into the innocent,helpless eyes of a hatching;so she raised him. Cradline names him Argentium unum et( The silver one).but everyone calls him Unus ( One ) He is growing fast. Cradline tries to keep him hidden,but soon he is found.everyone fears this silver beast and try to destroy him.few are on his side and things only get harder when the kings rival,who was always jealous of the king,wanting to be king himself... He had lead the army of animals who tried to hunt Unus.Scrunchy the cat tries many cruel ways to destroy Unus and his friend's.. Cradline just hopes that they will never have to flee out of the safe and secret half of the island they are on and be forced passed the great mount cure and into th dangerous world of the human's....Concluida

Night Rider - A httyd and Hiccstrid book. -Astrid's pov- 8 years. That's how long it has been. 8 lonely, cold, devastating years of my life that I will never get back. Every night I dream the same dream - every night the same day returns to haunt me over and over. That day dramatically changed my life for the worst. Why did that day happen? Everyone learnt to leave me in peace in the morning. Everyone knew my deepest, darkest secret that changed people's opinions of me forever. Everyone knew my arch enemy, but only 2 people know why he is my arch enemy. My friends still talk to me, just not in the same way as they used to - it's almost as if they are scared of me, or don't want to be associated with me. One day I want this to change. One day I want my life to turn around. One day I will truely be me again. One day I will be happy. One day I will be free. I cannot see that day in the forseeable future, but I know it will come, and I know somehow it is connected to my enemy. *I know that it is an over-used story line but I tried to spice it up a little. Kinda like how you may always eat a Chicken Masala and then you try a Vindaloo - they're both food and both curries but one is different from the other* There are extra chapters at the end containing side-stories of this book. It will make more sense when you read the chapter titled: 'The little boat' near the end of the book, but the actual story is 60 chapters long.Concluida

A long, thin tail with a thin frost layer gently wrapped around me. Normally I would've run, escape through the trees to the best of my abilities. But I couldn't. The icy blue gaze was hypnotizing. The dragon gently puffed frost in my face. Small, gleaming white teeth caught the snow. No matter how brilliant this dragon looked, however, I couldn't fight back the only other thought that was running through my head. I was gonna die. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kiara has lived on her own for as long as she can remember. But when she finds her fate caught with the Dragon Riders, secrets are uncovered about her identity, and she has to choose between fighting her father...or facing the only friends she'd ever known in battle. Secrets, betrayal, and lies, all circling Kiara's life as she struggles to fit in with the Riders, and find where her fate truly stands. OLD: While I'm very proud for this being my first completed major project, it's still old as hell, several things make 0 sense and there's a lot of random convoluted stuff and little consistency, especially in characters. This was something I wrote to escape when I was down and often sleep-deprived so I just wrote what I felt like in the moment. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ITS SEQUELS. If that isn't your thing, I wouldn't recommend this.Concluida

Book one this is before not so goal anymore. I have a secret to tell you. I'm a horse shifter β’ I've been a horse shifter all my life but I don't like being in my human form and as a female I have to keep my identity hidden and kept a secret as female shifters are very rare. β’ Mare shifters aren't common anymore after horse shifters began having kids with humans the trait was only dominant in males and as time passed and generations went on, mare shifters became practically endangered. A few humans do know this but others don't but we aren't gonna do anything bout it. β’ This is my story and my adventures as one of the horse shifters. β’ This is 25horse work but she gave it away I was one of the people who got her story. the first 10 chapters are made by her so keep in mind it won't be my writing style. Dan Barns: Problem Solver
Book 1 of Dan Barnes Series. I am a single male with a degree in science and engineering. My name is Dan Barns, I was in the army for four years, worked in the private sector for five years with a six figure salary and was bored out of my mine. I grew a great nest egg, but I was not cut out to wear a suit and tie and then attend meetings everyday. I wanted so much more. I am six foot even, and I weigh around 186 on a bad day. My hair is brown with natural black streaks, and I have a nice tan. I love the great outdoors. I grew up as a single kid with a single parent who worked all the time. I aced science every time and fixed things for my mother and myself because of a lack of money. I never knew my dad, but once a year, my mother would get a check for my upkeep. My dad was a well traveled man and never stuck around after mom had me. Things were tough, but we made it. I got scholarships for my doctorate in both fields. I graduated as a doctor in six years. Problem that shaped me into the man I am today was, my mom died when I was 16 and I deicide to test out of school, joined the military, spent four years as special operative, and into college as an adult, I tested out of some of the easier classes. I kept the house because it was paid for and was in mine and my mother's name. I kept her truck, because it was also paid for and it helped when I need to remember her. I was twenty seven when I walked across the stage for my diploma and was sought after by some very big companies. I worked for one of these companies for five years and then I was bored. I retired at thirty one. I laid low, putting around my house, helping my neighbors, and helping out at the boys and girls club coaching basketball. For two years, I stayed in my own little piece of the gulf. I did not spend a lot of money, I fixed things, sold electric back to the electric company, and had fun with the teens. With the history now told, we can begin with some of my adventures.Concluida

this is the new one, don't read the one one it's bad. btw pretty much everything is the same except thanks to simon (i'm adding the nightmare critters btw), i made crafty back into a unicorn and I plan to touch on that more. also the story will just be better thought out because I'm not just making it up as I go (what i mean is i was making new plot points without making an effort for them to flow smoothly into the previous ones in the last one, which is something i won't do here since i have a timeline for the story set in my head.) I also wrote out all the unnecessary characters, so now it's just the critters + anyone important to the story (say Godfrey, Elliot, Andy etc.) with all that mumbo jumbo out of the way, i hope you enjoy the new and improved smiling critters story :D
Shifter Academy: Book One Of The Shifter Academy Series
'Book 1 in the Shifter series' My name is Celina Birch and until yesterday me, and my siblings; Sydney and Alexander but Alex for short, thought we were human. Turns out we our from a family of shifters but, we would not know thy due to our parents dying when we were young and being adopted. The animal you shift into does not run in blood like people think. Yes, some family's lean more towards one animal but there are occasions where a member will shift into a different animal. It all depends on your personality. There are 22 types of animals you can shift into. Some are common and some are rare. Now we have the birds: the Ravens, the Eagles, the Vultures, and the Falcons. Then we have the felines: the Panthers, the Tigers, the Cougars, the Snow Leopards, the Cheetahs, and the Lions. Then we have our canines: the wolves, the foxes, the coyotes, and the hyena's. Are common because there are the mythical ones too. The flying creatures: the Hippogriffs, the Dragons, the Pegasus's, the Phoenixes, the Thunderbirds. The water creatures: the Sirens, the Mermaids, the Kelpies. The shapeshifting academy is kind of like Hogwarts with the letters and using owls for sending mail. Yes, there is a castle for the academy and no, there isn't any witch or wizards those are supposedly extinct. Now I have to go were going to find out what animal we shift into at the ceremony soon. If only I knew then that there was actually 23 types of shifters ~~~~~~~~~~ I wrote this series when i was very young, so any mistakes or grammar issues, or long descriptions, I am sorry about, but I won't be fixing them anytime soon either.Concluida
Five BFFs *The Amazon Forest*
So, just a disclaimer. This is an old story I wrote for my four best friends back in middle school and I wasn't very good (I'm still not that good). I've tweaked it a bit but the plot is still the same. One of my friends, who's in the book, has asked me to put this up along with the sequel for some time now. So, yeah. Enjoy. Oh! And also, the cover is just using cats to symbolize my friends and I. The book isn't actually about cats. Also, the chapters are really short. --------- I've always dreamt of going on some amazing adventure with my friends but I never thought it would actually happen. One day, I'm just working on science homework and the next I'm in the Amazon forest with my four best friends on a mission. Not to mention, animals are disappearing more and more every day.
