As the world you stand upon spins into the dark, the only light emitted by igniting a spark.
Wait,
And look at the chaos, the hate that fills, that fuels, that brims. The screams that hurt even the deaf, felt by all, even the daft.
Wait,
To see the love that overcomes the hate, the love that prospers despite anyone's fate.
So wait, to see this universe that exists, beyond you and beyond me.
And wait, so we can look at the world with a few words that make a whole new meaning.
