A young boy senses that something mysterious is going on in his home one stormy night. The next morning his uncle decides to investigate and finds a girl, beaten and weak from hunger, curled up on a mattress in his nephew's old room, to which they have lost the key. He frees her and the very next day they find her best friend in the same room, stabbed in the chest and bleeding. A psychologist thinks their case is linked to those caused by a serial killer, but they are not dead. Yet. Will Niall be able to protect these two girls from the evil that surrounds them?

In a world infected by a monstrous virus, survival is no longer just about strength - it's about heart. When a mysterious infection transforms people into mindless creatures, a group of unlikely heroes must come together to fight for what's left of humanity. At the center is Heaven, a fierce and broken girl haunted by loss and love, forced to lead a revolution she never asked for. With her are best friends, soulmates, and strangers-turned-family - all carrying secrets, scars, and something worth saving. As they battle their way through betrayal, hidden agendas, and the devastating pull of the past, Heaven must confront the truth: that love might be the most dangerous weapon of all. From stolen kisses in shattered bedrooms to final goodbyes wrapped in monstrous arms, every heartbeat could be their last. But hope isn't dead - not yet. Because somewhere between the ruins and the silence, there's a cure... and it lives in the one place they swore they'd never go back to. A story of found family, aching romance, and the beauty that blooms after destruction - this is a post-apocalyptic tale with teeth, tears, and a whole lot of soul. ------------------------- I started this story back in 2014.
