Delilah wakes up, not remembering who or where she is. Confused and dazed, Delilah is soon put into the maze. Surrounded by a group of boys, desperate to fit in, Delilah soon proves to be more valuable than anyone thinks. Strong, hard-headed and daring, Delilah shows everyone she's not someone to be messed with, that's until she's met with the dangers that come outside the walls that surround her. Fear takes over her, but determination is still evident in her. After a year in the maze, things turn from bad to worse when two new gladers are sent up, Thomas and Theresa. When things turn bad, Delilah has to step up to the plate and do her best for everyone else in the maze, risking her life and everything she has to save everyone else.

The usual starter pack of some character being the first girl in the glade and blah, blah, blah. Yeah..not what I'm gonna do. Let's start like this, trapped, hopeless, with no way out. That is the life in the glade. No one knows why they are there or how to get out. They try to keep each other in a state of sweet ignorance. Just to keep their sanity. But the ones that were there the longest they know. They know the hard truth that would cause other gladers to lose their minds. These few chosen ones became fearless. Warning: As my bio says I am not a native English speaker, I am from Slovakia and English is just my second language. And because Slovakia is some lost country in the middle of Europe I didn't yet get my hands on the Maze Runner books in English I only read them in Slovak and let me tell you that isn't as good...So I will be mainly basing this book on the movie, of course using some things from the books as well from time to time. Could she every move on from this love? *** There are more detailed scenes and strong language in this book if you do not prefer either of these it might be best if you do not read this book, if not I hope you enjoy.
