Quite a few years ago when I first started writing, I had tried to write my own more modern version of Disney's Beauty and the Beast. It had a werewolf instead of a combination of animals as the beast and a nerdy highschool kid as the beauty. I had tired to mix it up a bit by switching the gender roles, having the beast be female and the beauty be male, and adding a few new characters, like the beauty now had a sister, and the Beast still had family at her castle. At the time I thought it was amazing, but looking back on it now I realize that it's not very original and the plot was basically a rip off of Disney's version. So a few years after writing it , I came back to it and changed it up quite a bit. Now the story is between two females, Jane the Punk and Patty the 'Princess', and it's set with them at college as sophomores.

I own all the characters and the story it's self, I give some credit for the inspiration to Disney and their version if Beauty and The Beast.
This is only been slightly proof read by me, so please excuse any spelling or grammar mistakes.

Once upon a time in the hidden heart of France, a handsome young prince lived in a beautiful castle. Although he had everything his heart desired, the prince was selfish, spoiled, and unkind. He had an entire army of servants there to attend to his every need, most of which were there since his childhood. The prince nearly hated his staff, even when they'd done nothing wrong - and were only trying to meet his needs. One night, during one of the Prince's courting events - a special type of ball, where dozens of young woman would dress up and dance with the prince, in an attempt to win over his heart and become queen to the Kingdom - An uninvited guest arrived. It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart. The enchantress cursed the prince, transforming him into a hideous beast - and if he was unable to learn to love another, and earn their love in return by the time the last petal from the rose she offered had fallen, he would remain a beast forever. A long time ago, lived a handsome prince who ruled over the beautiful kingdom of Greyson. One stormy night, he upset a powerful witch, who then cursed him and his kingdom. Everyone was trapped and could not leave Greyson, and the king was transformed into a monster. The only way to break the curse, is for the king to find true love. But who could truly love a monster. Annie finally gets the nerve to leave a bad relationship. With nothing but an old truck and camper, she starts driving to what she hopes is a new beginning. Somehow, she ends up in the cursed lands of Greyson. She finds she is trapped in a world where time stands still, and magic exist. At first it seems like a paradise. But like they say, when it seems too good to be true, most of the time it is. When there is a misunderstanding, the king accuses Annie of stealing and he kicks her out of the castle. Done with feeling rejected and alone, Annie decides it's time to find a way out. As she tries to find her way out, she starts to learn more about the curse and its people. She also starts to realize maybe the king is not as big of a monster as she thought. Even though most of Greyson is beautiful, something evil is lurking. Without a Pack and My Mate
This is something I created when I was going though some dark things in my life sorry some of it is mature content. This story is a time traveling story that goes from one point of view (POV) to the next and it also is about a young wolf finding his love and if she rejects him or not and then him going on a journey to find answers to his questions. While he is gone there is something that happens to his pack.
