'...what? What the hell is wrong with those people?' Randy Chan thought in confusion as he watched the 7 PM news.
Then, with momentary burst of anger and sorrow after failing his University Entrance Exam, even as a repeating student, he searches for the "least painful ways to commit suicide" on the Internet.
And he is about to find out what the hell WAS wrong with those people in the news who committed odd suicides.

I can't get the image of a beaten Tetsuya out of my mind. Could he be bullied? No it can't be, he's practically invisible... But there is no other explaination to this, Tetsuya has been acting strange lately as well. There was something off with him. He has learn to not only hate his life, but to want finish it off as fast as possible. Close to finally graduating high school his English teacher, Mr Steve, assigns the class a special progect. "To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more.
