Porcelain Dolls

From the outside, they both look like porcelain dolls.

Glassy eyes; smooth skin; plump lips.

Eyes that have cried waterfalls.

Skin that's bled.

Lips that have sworn.

Heart that's been shattered into a million pieces.

Once a porcelain doll is broken, it will never be the same as it once was.

As much as you try to fix it, the cracks will still be visible.

The human heart.

Easy to break. Hard to fix. The cracks will always be there.

So yes, I guess they are both like porcelain dolls.
