"One: Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet.
Two: Never give up work. Work gives you meaning and purpose and life is empty without it.
Three: If you are lucky enough to find love, remember it is there and don't throw it away."

I am 21-year-old Mia Sloan, I am deeply in love with philosophical quotes, I suffer from insomnia because of whole nights willfully spent studying in a prospect of being addressed as Professor Sloan in the near future, and I find serenity in the midst of life's chaos when stargazing.

For the last three years of my student life experience, meet and greet cocktail parties had never failed to bore me to death, but this one might be particularly thrilling. I spotted a new debate partner I am eager to throw arguments at: Zachary Haverford, the conference speaker who thinks that hard work and dedication are important, but talent outweighs anything else when on the road to success. Of course, natural talent is a bonus, but who on earth thinks hard work is to be neglected? This obtuse man is soon going to wish his lucky stars would have done their job the right way so that he would not have to meet me.
