Nadiya Green had one ultimate goal after loosing her sister in the streets due to gang violence. This was to get back in touch with her mother and father who live in Lebanon. She meets Shaheed Reid: on the surface he is a popular, rich, basketball player who will go on to play for the Lakers, to carry out his families successes. Shaheed wants to play basketball, his destiny since he was a child. Nadiya wants her family, people shes never seen since she was a child. 

They can't have it all, will one of them sacrifice their goals in life for the other? Will they be loyal to each other? To their families?
