Darkness

They have no idea what darkness is.
It's not black, it's not nice.
It's not night, it's not your own closet.
It's scarier than you would think.
Trust me, I would know because,
Darkness is inside my head.

They have vibrant colors.
They know what happiness is.
They know what sadness is.
I don't know any of this.
What if, the human body is just paper?
And emotion is their color?
If so,
I have no color.
If I would have color,
It would only be black.
