Before you turn away from me in disgust, know this: I was born 26 years ago just as human as you are. No metal and plastic exoskeleton fused onto my skin and organs, no neural netting injected into my brain. Just a bawling mass of baby. 

Except, unlike you, I was more mass, less baby. Thanks to a combination of bad genes and environmental contamination in utero, I barely resembled anything human, baby or otherwise. However, Earl stepped in and pleaded for humanity's relocation instead of their annihilation. You see Earl himself was earth born. Only as a teenager, did he discover his 5D abilities. He saw the progress humanity had been making. He knew they had learned from their past environmental failures. In his opinion, the people of Earth didn't have to die. All they needed was a new start on a different planet.

When the Mars missions started to get momentum I never knew I would be a part of it. The red planet was a great platform to gain my freedom from my lost love. I was so confused about the situation that it bordered on obsession with my mentor he was my sponsor for the mission as you need to have one to vouch for your ability to get right all the aspects of the training. The human factor involved in the highly computerized setup was a glitch that set everything out of sink so the mentor system was created to help the astronaut focus on getting the job done. I did the unthinkable crime of falling in love with my mentor. So not cool,so not professional and to top it off embarrassing for me. How do I get away from this problem. Make sure I go to Mars and not have to face him again. Even if it means I never come back again.

This has molded the way you see people and drones as a whole and has made it difficult for you to fight the feeling you're beginning to develop for one drone in particular.
