My soul-searching story of a dark past. Growing up in a strict Mormon household I slowly withdraw into a dark world of my own; self-mutilating, suicide attempts and self-medicating with drugs and alcohol. I go into therapy and discover repressed memories of being severely abused by my father. My world degrades into mental illness, becoming involved with a cult, confused sexual orientation and further drug and alcohol use, culminating in a year's exploration with heroin, cocaine and meaningless sex. My self-destruction is assured but when I become ill with a life-threatening illness I must fight to live and discover my salvation. Mature content.
