In a century when children are not loved anymore, a group of adults, now called the Heads, made a foundation: the Child Redemption Department.
Skylar Leathe is a seven-year-old girl, who loves her parents from the bottom of her heart; but her parents don't love her. What do they do? What everyone else does of course.
They trick her into the CDR.
The CDR is ecstatic. Darling Skylar has the symptoms of the strongest control over the elements, which the CDR uses technology to install into the newly accepted children.
Little did they know that Skylar would be more trouble than what she was worth.
Had they known, perhaps the Heads would have never made the Child Redemption Department after all....
