It has been years after Katniss Everdeen's rebellion had succeeded. Her children have grown up in a safe Panem with President Paylor ruling. But soon, President Snow's great grandson appears out of nowhere, overthrowing President Paylor and taking his new title as Ruler of Panem, showing the citizens that no matter what, they will never win. With that, he decided to continue the Hunger Games from where it last left off.
Meet 16 year old Telissa Hawthorne, granddaughter of Gale Hawthorne and a regular citizen living in District 2. But she isn't really a regular citizen. With almost all her family dying due to the Hunger Games and President Snow, there is no one left but her and her twin brother Terrace. What will happen when she is Reaped for the 100th Hunger Games? For this fic to be plausible, we need to assume: Katniss is 'selfish' enough to choose her own safety over that of other people (which she isn't because she's awesome). Gale doesn't know about the uprising in 8. Peeta tried to get his family to come too but only got his brother to agree, and he is okay with this. Haymitch doesn't do anything to stop them.
