Alina and Saleem are married for eight years. Alina thinks they're happily married, Saleem thinks they're just married. To him, a happily married life is the one which is filled with the joyous laughter of a child. Both of them long for one but there seems to be some sort of problem, an imperfection. Alina knows nothing can poison their love, but she doubts herself when Saleem does something impossibly horrific which puts her in a life-and-death situation.
