For once, his mind wasn't occupied with his anger for his sister, or his mother's final screams, and before he knew it, Juliet fell into his arms.
A smile reached her lips, and at that moment, Asher knew he would never let her go as she guided him across the hall in a tight embrace. Every tragedy that ever happened in Asher's life flashed before his blue irises, but Juliet, in all her splendor, brought to life every fantasy he ever imagined.
