When five strangers get stuck in an apartment building after a big power outage, they must look past their differences and quirks to find a solution. After awkward introductions and chaotic events, can they swallow their distaste and lay down prejudice to work together?
** note that there is NO POWER throughout the neighborhood, which impacts the functions of the elevator, their ability to communicate to the outside world, and the activity in the apartment.

Fade is on an elevator in space, and he doesn't know how he got there. The last thing he remembers is stumbling out of his 2023 grad party. He's a trainweck of a human with zero skills or talents, and it's very clear he has no business being in space, or in an elevator full of heavily armed people. As it turns out, they're professional space cleaners responsible for removing space problems. They've all been given a mission to figure out why a research station went dark. Fade is informed that yes, he is part of the team, and actually, he's the guy in charge! The Selfish Machines (Stageplay Version)
Gaya is a futuristic community where no one, except the government officials, have emotions. Unless, of course, you count the Selfish Machines who were immune to the anti-emotion treatments. Those who have emotions must be stoned publicly on their eighteenth birthday, for trying to destroy the community. Tark and Drella had been living undercover for seventeen years, trying to find a way to escape the twisted community in which they live. They believe they've found hope in something called the Sky Under the Sea, a silly rumor that might actually be true, where people are allowed to have emotions. Their research is interrupted, however, when a suspicious Selfish Machine escapes her community and finds Tark and Drella. A love triangle emerges, and jealousy begins when Tark chooses Skyla to help him research escape instead of Drella. Do they escape Gaya? Does the Sky Under the Sea exist? And who exactly is Skyla?
