"I. Hate. This. Place."

Hazelle Brooks is a 16 year-old genius and nerd with a passion for the arts. Her mother, Amalia Brooks, is having a hard time paying for Hazelle's brother Cody's medical bills. Unwillingly, Amalia sends her daughter away to her brother she never knew in upstate New York because of the money issues. Little does Hazelle know, this man, who is called Thomas Jackson, is the head master of an elite military academy - Lincoln Academy of Military Training. Hazelle is forced out of the "comforts" of public school and into the wild jungle of military training. What happens when the captain of the drill team, Taylor Stevenson, gets mixed into the equation followed by a snobby popular, mean girl and a scrawny math geek? Will Hazelle be able to adapt to this new life style? How will she survive the hardships of military school?

1 nerd + 1 drill team captain x 1 stuck up girl + 1 geek = a heck of a ride
