After waking up the next day, he wants to find her but he doesn't no where to look.

Marinette was never expecting someone to be the ocean that night. No one was ever out that late or ever that far out but there he was. A beautiful blonde boy was slowly drifting in the ocean, the life was slowly fading away from him. Marinette saves him, taking him back to shore, and hears him say words that she hadn't. He makes a wish. Now she has to figure out if he knows her secret with somehow filling his wish. To find someone for to love them.

The times when magic was commonplace had been long forgotten. And even if rumours of the supernatural do surface from time to time, Marinette isn't one to believe controversies, even if her own life has a few rather peculiar aspects to it. Adrien, on the other hand, is the controversy itself, powerful enough to destroy everything in his way if he chooses to do so. The only thing he wishes for, though, is for the soulmate he meets every night in his dreams to remember him upon waking up... something that might just come true after a rather unexpected visitor and an absurd demand from his father force Adrien to leave the life he knew behind in hopes of finding the one person that can help him regain control of his life. *** Thank you for taking interest in this story. I'm very happy to finally be able to share it with all of you, and I hope you'll enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Before we start, I'd like to thank @ladyofthenoodle, @misscongenialityofmlb, and @mostlovedgirl for beta reading. Thank you, guys! This story wouldn't be the same without you, and I greatly appreciate not only your help with grammar but the support and motivation you've given me over the last few months. Note that this story is rated M because, like in every good story, there is a final, epic battle that will contain certain aspects that might be upsetting to some, such as blood, bodily harm, and similar. I tried to keep the description as non-graphic as possible, but all the chapters containing such matters will contain a warning at the start of the chapter. You're welcome to skim over it or skip it. This, however, relates to only about 5-10% of the story and will take place closer to the end. Happy reading and I hope to hear your thoughts in the comment section or on any of my social media.

I wonder how AUs come into being. You know, the ones that people seem to come up with out of the blue. And that makes me wonder if any single person can just COME UP with an AU. If that's some kind of rule, it doesn't matter to me. Because I have what I guess could be an AU. The Left Behind AU. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Marinette Dupain-Cheng is alone. Entirely, completely alone. After a freak incident that starts a fire, she was separated and unaccounted for when she escaped her imploding home. Her parents, stricken with grief at thinking they'd lost their daughter, left Paris two months ago, and no one knows where they went. Now her only hope is to survive alone, saving what little she earns to buy a expensive plane ticket to Shanghai to reach her parents again, a game of chance that could leave her efforts fruitless. With this terrible situation, she learns to adapt and survive on her own- that is, until Marinette meets Adrien Agreste. After saving him from an unexpected supervillain in the city, the young model offers his hand in friendship upon learning her situation. His generosity is something she's scared to accept, but as fate brings them closer, perhaps a bit of magic- and unnatural luck- will change both lives forever. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I do not own show or characters. Plot is majorly my own, taken out of a season 1 episode. Ages 12+
