"The countdown is starting," he says standing up and pulling me up with him.

"So this is it huh?"

He smiles. "Yep, it-"

"Girl I have been looking absolutely everywhere for you!" Andrea yells at me.

"What's wrong?" I ask her walking over to her.

"My mom wanted us home by ten to celebrate my birthday. Wanna tell me what time it is?"

"Shit!" I yell. "I had an amazing time really, thank you," I say to the boy and follow Andrea who is rushing down all of these flights of stairs.

"Red!" I hear him yell for me. A boy I don't even know is chasing after me. I feel like I'm in a movie.

***

Jaclynn Winston is absolutely stunning and absolutely perfect girl. Student Council President. Captain of the volleyball team. Blonde hair. Blue eyes. An amazing best friend. Perfect personality and loved by everyone. One weekend, Lynn goes to a small town in Idaho to surprise her cousin, Andrea, for her birthday and attends a masquerade ball for Andrea's school.

There she meets Noah. He is a star football player for his school, plays guitar, and is definitely a smooth talker. The night is spent dancing and laughing. But before Jaclynn and Noah can reveal themselves minutes before midnight, Lynn and Andrea must rush home before Lynn's aunt kills her for being late for curfew. Then Lynn never sees Noah again and the ring she left behind.

Although a week later, a new boy moves to Lynn's hometown, Calabasas, California. She finds him arrogant and rude and annoying. If only she knew it was Noah. Noah finds her uptight, pushy, and snotty. If only he knew it was Lynn.

Their story continues with them trying to find themselves and each other through thick and thin, ups and downs.

And maybe, just maybe, Cinderella will find her Prince Charming.

"I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance

He walked up behind me in the mirror and placed his left tattooed hand around my neck. I felt his warm breath on my neck sending chills down my spine. "Mmm baby you might want to watch that pretty little mouth of yours before I put my dick down your throat fucking it so hard that tears leak from your eyes," he whispered trailing his right hand down my side to my hip. "But I'm sure you would enjoy that, wouldn't you? Having my dick in your mouth claiming it as yours." he continued dipping his head down to kiss my neck. I shook my head no and he let a low sexy chuckle. "I need words baby." "N-no your w-wrong, " I stammered clenching my legs together. "Well, I guess we'll have to test that theory. ""Kitten, you're worried about something, and you cannae lie. You're picking at your hands and looking around to clean up my room. Unlucky for you, my room is very clean," he said, "Now what are you worrying about so much?" I stopped picking at my cuticles. It was kind of weird that he could see me doing something and read me like a book before I could even realize I was doing it. I felt my heart pound in my chest. "Well, it's just this whole pretending to date you thing," I shrugged, "How far do we have to take it? Do we have to do it in front of our friends? Do we have to do it in public because obviously we ran into Olivia today and we weren't planning on it. Oh shit, what if she sees you with another girl? I mean, what would happen then? What if she sees me talking to another guy? How long is this going to go on? What if we have to kiss in front of Olivia? I mean, it's not that I don't want to kiss you but--" I rambled on nervously. Iain smirked and walked towards me, and the next thing I knew, his lips were on mine, and we were kissing." When Kit's older brother, Ben, finally makes it with the girl he's been crushing on for four years, only to find out she's wary of family, he lies and calls his baby sister his best friend's girlfriend, turning everyone's life upside down. While Kit's struggling with the impending doom of college and parents that could divorce at any second, she's also juggling a fake relationship with her brother's hot best friend, Iain. As if that weren't complicated enough, a chemistry sparks between Iain, igniting flames and destroying the crumbling world around them. RATED M for drug and alcohol use and sexual themes
Step Brothers by artsykid04
18 parts Complete Mature
Jace Summers is not your average high school boy, per se. He prefers being himself no matter what anyone else thinks about him, and he's proud of who he is. He has pastel pink hair, stunning deep brown eyes, and a sweet and silky voice that makes all of the girls swoon. Too bad he's gay though, and everyone knows it. Jace has been out to the world since seventh grade and he never got too much trouble from it, which he is thankful for, but he knows he would be okay even if he was bullied harshly. It's just who he is. Alec Walker is a whole other story, however. He is very basic, brown hair, hazel eyes, all-black attire, and he is well-known throughout the school but he doesn't consider himself to be one of the popular kids. He loves skateboarding and singing, has good grades. There's nothing overly unique about him- except his voice could make angels swoon. Both boys are different but not so different that you'd think they would dislike each other. Well, you would be wrong. They hate each other with burning passions. Sorry- hate is a strong word. They loathe each other with deep burning passions. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all because that's how he comes off to a lot of people until you get to know him, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying with how he presents himself. Those seem like small things that could be easily overcome, however it's also their encounters in the halls or in classes that cause problems. By now it's just mutual hate that both boys are too stubborn to give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them. Not at first, but with time. Read to find out what happens! (Also- it is a mystery to even me how long this story will be. I'll be posting chapters as I finish and we'll see how long it turns out to be. It could be my shortest with like four chapters, or my longest with thirty or more. You never know. I hope you enjoy it though!)
