On a mysterious island, in the middle of the ocean, resides a collection of people lost to the real world after they were stranded. Unable to truly die because of the island's magic, this story follows the risen life of Anne and Warren and the citizens of Laerp as they try to make the best of living forever. Experienced with people arriving on their island, Anne and Warren are able to handle newcomers in a professional fashion, supporting them while slowly introducing them to the strange features of Laerp. But when a whole family arrives, they find themselves unable to gain the family's trust as easily as gained with the others.
